International University – Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City would like to invite IU students to participate in the Summer School 2020 at EM Normandy, France. The details are as follows:

  1. Program duration: June 25 – July 25, 2020; two options for students:
  • Two weeks:
  • Session A: from June 25 to July 11, 2020 (ALERT: same time with Final Exam)
  • or Session B: from July 9 to July 25, 2020
  • Four weeks:
  • From June 25 to July 25, 2020
  1. Venue: Caen, Normandy and 1-day trip to Paris
  2. Fees: €150 registration fee (exclude logistic costs from/to your home/Paris CDG airport, passport, visa, insurance, accommodation*, food, extras & personal expenses).

New Zealand Development Scholarship for the 2021 Academic Year

The New Zealand Embassy in Vietnam is pleased to announce the New Zealand Scholarships Program for the Academic Year beginning in early 2021.

The New Zealand Scholarship Program for the 2021 academic year grants 30 full postgraduate scholarships (graduate and doctoral) to Vietnamese nationals who come from different disciplines and fields across the country. The scholarship receives applications for strong sectors of New Zealand as well as priority areas of the Government of Vietnam, for example: Climate change and Environment;  Disaster risk management, Food security and Agriculture; Renewable Energy and Governance.

The New Zealand Scholarship Program will begin accepting online applications for the academic year beginning in early 2021 from February 1, 2020. The deadline for scholarship applications is February 28, 2020.

The New Zealand Scholarship Program prioritizes applications for the following majors: Climate change and Environment; Disaster risk management, food security and agriculture; Renewable Energy and Governance.

Admission criteria

  • Vietnamese citizen and under 40 years old at the time of applying for scholarship
  • Must have lived and worked in Vietnam for at least two years before applying for a scholarship
  • At least 1 year of full-time work experience relevant to the proposed field of study
  • Meet the admission requirements, including the New Zealand University’s English proficiency criteria that applicants wish to apply for.
  • Commit to return to Vietnam at least 2 years after completing the course to contribute to the development of the country.

Darmasiswa Scholarship Program Academic Year 2020/21

Darmasiswa Scholarship Program Academic Year 2020/21

Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia is offering Darmasiswa Scholarship Program Academic Year 2020/2021 to students from several countries including Vietnam. In this one-year scholarship program, students will study Indonesia language (Bahasa Indonesia), as well as Indonesian arts and culture. Students have the opportunity to choose one of 72 universities.

Details of the Scholarship program, as well as the online registration, can be obtained in https://apply.darmasiswa.kemdikbud.go.id/. The registration form, along with all supporting documents, should be submitted online to the aforementioned website no later than 2 March 2020. Applicants with uncompleted documents will not be able to proceed to the interview session.

The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Ho Chi Minh City would sort the application form and all its supporting documents. The selected candidates are to take an interview session in the Consulate General and proceed to other test that will be conducted by the appointed university.
